According to the Vietnam Coconut Association, in the first six months of 2025, the Vietnamese coconut industry achieved an export turnover of 489 million USD, of which whole coconuts (dried and fresh coconuts) accounted for 216 million USD, an increase of 40% compared to the same period last year. In 2024, the total export turnover of coconuts reached 1.089 billion USD, and the industry set a growth target of 20% in 2025, reaching over 1.2 billion USD. These figures reflect the strong momentum, but the true potential of Vietnamese coconuts in the international market is much greater. Specifically, in Vinh Long, the export turnover of coconuts in 2025 is expected to reach about 500 million USD, an increase of 2.9% compared to 2024.
