Vietnam's exports of agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products achieve breakthrough, laying a solid foundation for achieving the 2025 target.

This is the information released by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam at a regular press conference held in Hanoi on November 5. As of the end of October, the national rice planting area was 7.1 million hectares, the harvested area was 6.32 million hectares, and the estimated yield was 39 million tons, slightly lower than the same period last year. The number of pigs in stock increased by 0.1%, and the number of poultry in stock increased by 2.9%. Forestry remained stable, with an additional afforestation area of 236,600 hectares (an increase of 12.2%), and timber production reached nearly 20.5 million cubic meters (an increase of 7.8%). The aquaculture production reached 8.16 million tons, an increase of 3.1%, with shrimp production increasing by 5.7%.
