The 2023 agri-food exports of Italy reached a record high of 63 billion euros, showing a 7% growth. The forum also discussed the sustainability of the supply chain, climate change impacts on crops, and innovative technologies to improve yield and reduce the ecological footprint. Italy, being the leading European producer of durum wheat, contributes about 25% of the wheat used in global pasta production.
