Core tip: According to the monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, from October 13 to 19, 2025, the average purchase price of live pigs by designated slaughter enterprises was 12.99 yuan/kg, a decrease of 3.4% from the previous period and a decrease of 31.5% year-on-year. The average ex-factory price of streaky pork was 17.05 yuan/kg, a decrease of 3.0% from the previous period and a decrease of 30.4% year-on-year.
