In Rio Grande do Sul, negotiations are practically suspended, with temporary shutdowns in mills for cleaning and collective holidays. The estimate is that between 42% and 44% of the new crop production has already been commercialized, equivalent to about 1.55 million tons. The reference prices for milling wheat vary between R$ 1,100 and R$ 1,150 per ton in local mills, while at the port the values are around R$ 1,180 in December and R$ 1,190 in January.
