Exports of wheat and meslin remained almost at the same level as a year earlier. Prices for export deliveries decreased by 2.5% MoM. According to the results of January-February of this year, Kazakhstan exported 1.3 million tons of wheat and meslin in the amount of 370.1 million US dollars. Growth in physical terms amounted to 0.3%, in monetary terms, on the contrary, exports decreased by 0.1%. Most of the products were sent to the CIS countries: 930.8 thousand tons - 18.5% more than a year earlier. The largest volumes were exported to Uzbekistan (624.7 thousand tons), Tajikistan (125.8 thousand tons) and Turkmenistan (103.8 thousand tons). 338.4 thousand tons of wheat were sent to other countries of the world that are not members of the CIS, which is 29.4% less than a year earlier.
