Why were 30 export batches of Vietnamese durian warned by China?

The Plant Protection Department has just sent a document to the Plant Quarantine Branches, the Department of Food Safety of Ho Chi Minh City, the Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development of Tien Giang, Lang Son, Dong Nai, Dak Lak, and Ha City provinces. Internally, businesses involved in tracing durian export shipments were warned by China. Specifically, the Plant Protection Department received warning information from the Animal and Plant Quarantine Department (General Administration of Customs of China - GACC) about 30 shipments of Vietnamese durian exported to China being contaminated with the heavy metal cadmium.
