Tajikistan is expanding its agricultural markets to include Turkey, Iraq, and India, in addition to its traditional exports to Russia and Kazakhstan. The Chinese market offers significant potential for Tajikistan's fruit production, with demand expected to increase to $1.8 billion by 2030. However, entering the Chinese market requires stable quality and large volumes of fresh fruit supplies, modern quality control systems, compliance with food safety standards, and constant communication with Chinese partners. Currently, Tajikistan's agricultural exports are distributed to China, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, and Belgium, with the United States and Chile dominating the supply of fresh imported fruits in the Chinese market.
