Fruit and vegetable departments of Khujand supermarkets - EastFruit retail audit in Tajikistan in July 2023

In early July (July 5-7, 2023), the EastFruit international project team conducted an annual audit of fruit and vegetable departments of supermarket chains in six countries and eight cities: Ukraine (Kiev and Dnipro), Georgia (Tbilisi), Moldova (Chisinau), Tajikistan (Dushanbe and Khujand ), Uzbekistan (Tashkent). In total, during the monitoring of the fruit and vegetable departments of supermarkets in Tajikistan, an audit was conducted in 27 stores, representing 9 main supermarket chains in Tajikistan. In this material, we offer a detailed analysis of the situation with the trade in fresh vegetables and fruits in the city of Khujand, Tajikistan.
