Peru seeks leadership in fruit and vegetable exports at Fruit Logistica 2024

The Peruvian delegation, made up of nearly 200 businessmen from the agro-export chain, is participating from February 7 to 9 at the Fruit Logistica 2024 Fair in Berlin, Germany. This fair is recognized as the largest in the world for fruits and vegetables, with more than 2,770 exhibitors from 140 countries distributed in 25 pavilions. In addition, it has more than 60,000 professional visitors, mostly purchasing decision makers. The Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Exports and Tourism (Promperú) reported that visitors come mainly from Europe, Asia and Latin America. The products with the greatest interest at the fair are grapes, asparagus, mango, Hass avocado, pomegranate, citrus fruits, ginger and blueberries; and in that sense, the participation of the Peruvian delegation seeks to consolidate Peru's position as one of the main producers and exporters of fruits and vegetables in the world.
