Company Story

In 1965, GERARD DObbels and his son Carlos Dobbels established GERDO as a cannery. The industry gradually switched to trading fresh vegetables.

Dobbels Stefaan, the third generation, joined the business at the end of the 1980s. For the first time, leeks were shipped to France for the fresh market. Stefaan expanded its product line and customer base, and the company exports to several nations.

According to the simultaneous clock system, all of the vegetables and fruits that we offer are purchased at Belgian auctions. This indicates that the items offered at the REO auction in Roeselare, the Bel'Orta auction in Mechelen, and the Hoogstraten auction are all offered simultaneously.

Products from their local growers also make up a portion of this assortment. Daily interactions with their producers guarantee a supply of fresh vegetables of high quality. As a result, there is a wide selection of seasonal fruits and vegetables.
