As for Californian grapefruits, it will go from 4 million boxes last year to 3.5 million in the 2023/24 season.
New Zealand plans to remove the quarantine requirements for citrus products like lemons and grapefruits from select countries, including Vietnam. This initiative was set in motion following an agreement between the two nations in Nov-22 when New Zealand's Prime Minister visited Hanoi to expand the export opportunities for Vietnamese citrus.
