Wholesale and farmgate prices come from 400+ vetted sources worldwide, each reviewed by product and market specialists and scored continuously. Import prices are derived from transaction records. All of it is normalised into common units, currencies and grades before it is comparable.
Those are the raw sources, published at HS-code level. Tridge maps the same records onto item-level products, resolves the company names inside them into single identities, and normalises the units — which is what turns a filing into a series you can act on.
Series can be taken out of the explorers and boards for your own analysis, subject to your plan’s download entitlements. The public market pages are readable but not bulk-extractable.
Price and trade series refresh on their own cadence per source — daily for some customs feeds, weekly or monthly for others. Every market page states its own last-updated date and reference year rather than implying one freshness for everything.
Partly, and it is stated as partly. Fresh produce, grains, oilseeds, dairy, coffee, cocoa and seafood are the deepest. Manufactured product coverage is in Beta and thinner, particularly for private label. Search your product before you decide.
