India maintains the cumin seeds market, but exports from Turkey grow

Global cumin seed exports increased to their highest record to over 90M USD in 2020. Major buyers rely on India to meet its demands including the US (28.54M USD), the UK (10.73M USD), Japan (4.83M USD), South Africa (2.09M USD), and Germany (1.82M USD). However, major importers in the world have also diversified their imports such as the case of US and Japan, which has started to trade with Turkey for supplying their cumin seeds demand.
