The price of Spanish almonds has surged by +87.44% YoY. Spanish almond was valued at USD 8.58 per kg in W2 Feb 2022, which was USD 4.58 per kg in 2021. The high price of Spanish almonds due to severe frost disrupted the production. Low supply in Spain also affected the export value of almonds to the global market. It was reflected that Spanish almond export to France has increased +9% YoY during January - November 2021.
