The price drop may be related to the stagnation of export supply that can be shipped by major producers in mid-2021. Import value fell to 0.38 USD per KG in July when import volume only reached 133.907 thousand pounds, or down 14% from the same period a year earlier. If prices do not recover in the third quarter of this year, it will be difficult for the US and major exporters to increase the number of mangoes that can be shipped each month.
