Turkey, which is one of the major importers of Almonds from the United States, indicates that the price has risen significantly above 80% in the past year. In fact, prices remain volatile until mid-2021 and recorded to hit the highest values right at the end of November with a total of 3.82 USD per KG. The price of almonds in the Turkey market has almost doubled in the third week of May 2021. Meanwhile, the US which also exports almonds to Turkey is now showing a negative growth rate of -21.31% in recent years. The Peerless almond variety originating from California has exhibited constant average prices over time.
