This year's tomato campaign numbers have been released and while everyone expected a decline in the export numbers, the actual decline was not as bad as predicted. The major factor affecting exports was the pandemic, however, farmers also reported large numbers of lost produce due to intense weather patterns.

In the end, the Canary tomato exports declined by 18% and had an early finish. However, farmers are now focusing on next year's season hoping that they will cover some of their losses from this year.
