From 15 February to 15 March, 70% of Brazilian peanut crops are expected to be harvested. The main producing region is forecasting records due to the larger planted area and the good amount of rain during the flowering period. Areas adjacent to the state of São Paulo towards the state border with Parana and Mato Grosso do Sul will likely experience a drop in productivity due to lack of rainfall. Altogether, Brazilian peanut production for this year is expected to grow.
