According to the individuals closely involved with grains operations, the unfavorable weather conditions faced by producers, including large quantity of rain when not expected followed by lack of rain when not expected, in the south area of Brazil will impact directly on the soya beans, and soya beans meal produce scheduled for 2022. Farmers are expecting a decrease of 40% in the expected volume. To fulfill commercial agreements, they are purchasing products from the region known as Arco Norte (comprising states of MA – TO – PI – PA – BA), which are expecting to have production 20% larger than 2021 - hitting an all-time high record.
