The Vietnamese market welcomed the arrival of the season's first New Zealand apples by late Mar-24. Among these early arrivals are popular varieties like Breeze and Jugala, which have garnered positive reception due to their freshness and sweet, crispy texture. At the Ho Chi Minh wholesale market, New Zealand apples are fetching prices ranging from UDS 36 to USD 38 per 18-kilogram (kg) carton in W12. Wholesalers anticipate a gradual decline in prices as more containers of apples arrive in Vietnam in the coming weeks, accompanied by a wider variety of apple offerings.
