The exports of raisins, dried apricots and dried figs exceeded USD 1 billion

Dried figs, dried apricots, and raisins constitute the highest share of USD 1 billion 574 million of dried fruit exports with USD 1 billion 39 million, and Turkey exports to 162 different countries around the world. Raisin exports reached USD 427 million in 2021, with a share of 81%. It exported USD 349 million to its main trade partner, European countries. Turkey's 2022 target in its raisin exports reaching 101 countries is USD 500 million.

Dried apricot exports increased by 31% in 2021 and reached USD 348 million. The target for 2022 is USD 450 million. Our exports increased by 45% to the USA, 29% to European countries, 39% to Asian and Oceania countries, and 106% to China. Dried fig exports to 112 countries increased by 11% to USD 263 million. In dried fig exports, Germany with USD 37 million, France with USD 36 million, and the USA with USD 34 million are the countries it exports the most. Turkey aims to export USD 300 million of dried figs by the end of 2022. Pistachio comes in 4th place in this sector with USD 209 million of the USD 536 million export amount reached in other products.
