The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has prepared a "Target Country Analysis Report in Foreign Trade of Agriculture, Food, and Forest Products" to promote Turkish agricultural products around the world. The report lists 35 products that can be exported in terms of production quantity and quality, which include olive oil, hazelnut, dried apricot, fig, raisin, cheese, flour, honey, seafood, poultry meat, chocolate, pasta, melon, quince, milk and dairy products, lemon, and pistachios. The top importers of these products are Russia, Iraq, Middle East countries, Germany, and EU countries that are geographically and culturally close to Turkey. The developing "Asia, Pacific" market for major Turkish products was highlighted as a key alternative market. At this point, China, Vietnam, Thailand, and Taiwan come to the fore. While Japan remains the most appealing and prestigious Far Eastern market due to its healthy and high-quality product demand, the American continent is also experiencing rapid growth in terms of both supply and demand.
