Turkish chestnut season has started, and prices are comparable to those of the 2020 season. Local weather and fires didn’t hurt the crop, so there is no significant loss in the overall yield. Aydin Chestnut gained popularity in Europe in the past few years, and with the good harvest of 2021, suppliers are expected to offer prices lower than those of main competitior Portugal.
