Egyptian exports of medecinal herbs reached 55 million dollar

Egypt sold nearly 35,000 tonnes of medicinal and aromatic plants and herbs from July 2019 to March 2020.

With a total value of $ 55 million, Egypt exported to 86 countries in the European Union (EU), North and South America, Africa, Australia and the Arab States, according to Arab Finance. Meanwhile, Egypt sold 12,500 tonnes of aromatic and medicinal plants and herbs in the first quarter from January to March.

The country shipped 29 items from these factories for a total value of $ 20 million in the first three months of 2020.
