Myanmar expects a shortage of fish products for the coming months due to regulations on the Yangon Industrial Zone

The Myanmar government has made some strict laws and regulations on the Yangon Industrial Zone where cold storage facilities and fish processors are located. Seafood suppliers expect to fully resume by the end of May. But the delay of resuming operations will disrupt the entire fishing season as fish farmers need to carry out their activities according to a fixed schedule. Hence, there will be a shortage of fish products for the coming months.
