Bulgaria expects 30% less apricot production yield this season due to frosts

Northeastern apricot growers are concerned that around 30% of their apricot production will be badly affected by the cold.
Apricot trees had flowers blossoming earlier thanks to the favorably warm weather however, the frost and lower temperatures have damaged the early blossoming trees and the growth of the fruits.
More than 200 Bulgarian growers have filed claims for damages of more than 30% of their total cultivated lands.
