European Commission changes import tariff norms as the market situation changes

A couple of months ago the European Commission (EC) increased the import tariffs on corn, sorghum and rye imports as the prices in the USA fell down. This was also accompanied by low demand for bio-ethanol in Europe. The EC recently lifted the import tariffs recently as the global prices of corn started inflating in the USA market. There has been a change in the import tariffs for these particular products for the third time in a row in the past three months.
