Maize, Wheat, Sorghum domestic price in Ethiopia rising due to supply shortage

After about 198,000 ha of Sorghum, maize & wheat was damaged by the desert locust last week, the local price of Sorghum, maize & wheat is expected to increase as the supply will not be able to meet the local demand for those products. And it is also believed that The farmers may end up in a food security crisis after their land which is their source of living was destroyed by the desert locust.
