Myanmar tea plantation can only be found in the Southern Shan Region of Myanmar. Most of the tea leaves are harvested naturally and no fertilizers or insecticides are used during the harvest season. Even though Myanmar teas are harvested during four seasons: March and April, May and June, July, and September, and November and December, local merchants and traders monopolize the price and supply chain as there is only one region of production.
