At the end of July, wheat and corn exports decreased by 42.2% and 71.3%, respectively.
In the case of wheat, about 268K tons were shipped to Brazil, Bolivia, and Vietnam in the first seven months of the year, while in the same period of 2019 464K tons were exported. Regarding corn, the data for May, June, and July show that from almost 776K tons, the scrap was reduced to 222K tons.
The exports of these products are being affected by problems at the border caused by strict controls that considerably delay the process of the products leaving the country.
