The German Ministry of Food and Agriculture has confirmed yet another case of African swine fever in wild boar, this time in a more central region of Brandenburg. The domestic swineherd is still free of the disease.

The first outbreak of African swine fever was confirmed on 10 September. In the same month, some countries importing German pork, such as China, South Korea, Argentina and Brazil, announced the temporary suspension of imports.
