The slight price decrease of chicken eggs in W27 at the retail market in Indonesia did not continue. Instead, the selling price of chicken eggs slightly increased from USD 1.96-2.10/kg (IDR 29.45k-31.55k/kg) in W27 to USD 2.20/kg (IDR 33K/kg) in W28, coinciding with price increases observed in other food commodities such as sugar, garlic, and chilies. The government price reference for chicken eggs in Jul-23 is USD 1.80/kg (IDR 27K/kg).
