Cocoa Cluster Chain Development Program to increase cocoa production in Sarawak

To attract cocoa entrepreneurs who have left their farms and have stopped replanting cocoa, the Ministry has introduced a Cocoa Cluster Chain Development Program in Sarawak. That program is able to increase the capacity of cocoa beans and income of entrepreneurs from the local population. Sarawak used to supply cocoa a lot but since the subsidy stopped 2 years ago, many suppliers stopped planting cocoa too.
