Despite certain regulations of the government in different parts of the country, such as lockdowns and limited transport, pineapple suppliers are still able to sell 40% of products in the Philippines, specifically in the form of juice. There is an increased demand for pineapple juice currently during this pandemic because pineapple juice a good source of Vitamin C. Suppliers are expecting at least 20% growth in demand for the product for the next 2-3 years.
