Egypt Will Apply a Pricing Module for USD Exchange Rate Used in General Imports in 2023

Egypt is expected to apply a pricing module for USD exchange rate used in Egypt's agricultural imports for Q2 of 2023. This should drop the payment delays that occurred in 2022 due to the lack of availability of foreign currency. There will still be some restrictions and pre-approvals for luxurious goods listed in the Central Bank of Egypt.
