Egyptian Sweet Potato Prices in the French Wholesale Market Dropped 27.3% MoM

According to several wholesalers, the price of sweet potatoes from Egypt in the French wholesale market dropped to USD 4.72/8kg in W42, from USD 6.49/8kg in W38, a drop of 27.3% MoM. This is partly caused by the start of production from Portugal and Spain. However, based on the prices of Dutch importers, retail prices would not have been affected as much as the wholesale price.
