In mid-October, the phytosanitary agreement for Greek kiwifruit imports to Brazil was finalized. However, the initial price offers for Greek Hayward kiwi in the Brazilian wholesale market have shown a significant price range, varying from USD 18.15 to USD 21.35 per 9 kilograms (EUR 17 to EUR 20/9kg) for caliber 27, CAT 1, and CIF-Santos. This price discrepancy has raised concerns among importers, as it has the potential to impact the Kiwifruit market when the product becomes available.
