It has been a quieter week compared to the activity seen throughout June. Most of
the activity has been in Europe, but with extended holidays setting in and important numbers on the horizon, momentum has slowed.

Prices for the current crop are unchanged from last week but California is pushing to increase prices, but buyers recognize that these prices already represent good value.

Right now, there is limited demand from the Middle East, mainly due to products still being on the water to the region due to logistical issues. China, on the other hand, is still the only active buyer.

Market expectations are somewhere between 2.80-2.90 billion pounds, anything outside of this range will cause movements up or down and potentially take the market out of a trading range that hasn’t been in since the beginning of the year.
