The Hass avocado off season fruit in Kenya was expected to be ready for harvesting from 15 September, 2022. However, the fruit will still be immature at this time due to the longer cold season and lower sunlight exposure in the central region of Kenya compared to last year. The off season harvesting is delayed up to at least the start of November and is projected to last about three weeks when harvesting starts. Suppliers are still making small air shipments from the remains of the last season. Prices remain unchanged at USD 4.07/4kg box.
