In the wholesale market of Rotterdam, the Netherlands, the prices for Hass avocados from Kenya, Colombia, and Peru have adjusted in response to market demand during W36. For Hass avocados from Kenya (18>24, 4kg box), the price decreased from USD 7.41/box (EUR 7) to USD 6.09/box (EUR 5.75), while for Kenya's (26/28/30, 10kg box), it reduced from USD 13.76/box (EUR 13/box) to USD 12.18/box (EUR 11.50/box).
Similarly, Colombia's Hass avocados (18>24, 4kg box) dropped from USD 6.35/box (EUR 6/box) to USD 5.29/box (EUR 5/box), and (26/28, 10kg box) declined from USD 13.76/box (EUR 13/box) to USD 11.65/box (EUR 11/box). For Peru's Hass avocados (12>24, 4kg box), the price shifted from USD 6.88/box (EUR 6.50/box) to USD 5.29/box (EUR 5/box) and (26/28, 10kg box) decreased from USD 13.76/box (EUR 13/box) to USD 12.71/box (EUR 12/box). Buyers are increasingly seeking avocados, putting pressure on prices, while older stock is being sold at lower prices to make way for new, fully green avocados.
