In Pakistan, Freight costs are rising continuously after the covid-19 breakdown, and container shortage has been faced for the last three years. Freight costs have gone up by 100 - 250% for different destinations, while containers are not available even after this heavy surge in the freight cost.

If the exporters get successful in container issuance, they face difficulties while containers are onboarding on vessels. Mostly the containers get rolled over, and shipments are delayed for 1 to 2 weeks, and it's happening as usual. Due to these issues, exporters face problems executing their deals as they cannot meet the targeted ETDs and ETA.
