Owing to the Federal Government's drive for value-added commodity exports over raw forms through the PAVE initiative, more processing facilities are being set up and launched for shea, raw cashew nut, coconut, and cocoa by private sector investors and state governments in 2022. This is expected to further drive prices of commodities higher in the coming months as demand for domestic processing increases.
