To ensure a sufficient domestic supply for the first quarter of 2023, Indonesia will tighten export regulations for palm oil starting on January 1, 2023, by permitting fewer shipments overseas for every ton sold domestically. Exporters would be allowed to ship six times the volume of their domestic sales, down from the current ratio of eight times.
