The production costs of the Thai livestock sector have doubled as the cost of chemical fertilizers and the materials for animal feed increased. The increasing costs are an effect of the Russia-Ukraine conflict since Russia is a primary exporter of Urea and Ukraine is a major wheat exporter. Thai livestock producers are searching for alternative suppliers to try to control the rising production costs.
