Melon and watermelon harvest has started in Kemalpasa, Bursa

Melon and watermelon harvest has started in the Kemalpasa district of Bursa where the production areas for these 2 products are around 2,500 hectares.

The products from the area are exported to the Nakhchivan district of Azerbaijan in addition to some neighbouring countries. The farm gate price for melons is currently, around 0.17 USD per kg whereas the farm gate price of watermelons is around 0.13 USD per kg.
