Pistachio exports decline by 10% amid higher production output in Turkey

Turkey has exported 7,865 tons of pistachio in the period between January - October which represents a decline of 10,7% compared to the same period last year. There's a decline of 18,6% in the export value generated this year in the mentioned period with $90.4 million compared to $111.2 million last year.

Pistachio production output is expected to reach 300 KMT by the end of the current harvest year which is significantly higher than the previous.

The main export destinations during the 10-month period were Germany, Italy, Ukraine, Netherlands, Portugal, Cuba, USA, England, Australia, Maldives, Ireland, and Japan.
