From 2022 to 2024, global pollock catch is projected to rise by 12%. The United States (US) has witnessed reduced imports of pollock fillets, concurrent with increased domestic production of Alaskan pollock. In 2024, the US catch is anticipated to reach 1.45 million metric tons (MT). Moreover, the average export price of pollock fillets from Alaska notably surged in 2023, reaching approximately USD 3,899 per metric ton (mt).
