Pork Exports Decrease in Argentina During 2022

In Argentina, during the first 11 months of 2022, there was a 91.6% decrease in pork exports compared to 2021 and 93.7% when compared to the same period in 2020. Between January and November of 2022, 2.2K tons were sold. Argentina is importing pork from Brazil due to lower sales prices than local production costs, lack of competitiveness, and the exchange rate delay.
