Preserved foods and juices exports in Spain has experienced a 17% growth in the past year fueled by European demand. The Spanish Autonomous Region of Murcia is leading the market with €650 million in export value, followed by Valencia (€126 million), and Alicante (€68 million). The region has made a lot of progress in terms of cost reduction, and companies like Pepsi Co have established their operations in the region in an attempt to capitalize from this opportunity of growing demand.
